State:  Missouri
County:  Texas
Nearest Bigger Town:  Licking

Directions:  From Rolla, take Hwy 63 south about 35 miles to Hwy 32, turn west.  Drive 3.7 miles to Hwy N, which branches to the right.  Drive 2.1 miles to Hwy AF, turn left.  Hwy AF turns into Slabtown Road and passes close to a farmhouse making the road look almost like a driveway.  Continue driving for 7.5 miles until you see the sign for Big Piney Trail Camp, turn left.

Clues:

1. From Big Piney Trail Camp, take the trail northwest.
2. Follow trail until you come to a big gravel road.  Cross the road.
3. Continue on the trail and you'll notice that you are turning south.
4. Following the trail, it would seem to take forever if you were hiking, but you're on horseback so it won't take all that long...........
5. When you find the indian chief, dismount from your horse and tie him temporarily (preferably crosstied) while you finish the hunt.
6. This horse is lucky because he has the chief to look over him.
7. Look all around the indian and you will find the box.  It's not in a hole or log, but it's hidden from easy view.  Stay within 25 feet of the indian to find it.
